We are looking for some additional volunteers
Do you like being part of a fun team? Do you want to be part of a strong community?
Due to the success of Strumpshaw Community Hall we are looking to expand the team that runs the hall.
We are looking for people who have any of the following skills:
Good with people – able to meet and greet people, show them round the hall, show them how everything works and help with any queries.
Good at DIY – we have contractors to cut the grass and do the bigger jobs, but by doing other maintenance jobs ourselves we save money.
Good at organisation – we have an easy to use booking and invoicing system, and most communication with hirers is done by email.
If you are interested, please give a call to Sarah discuss - Sarah Cartwright Tel: 07710 807090

Recent Birthday Party
The Hall facilities are ideal for birthday parties
St Peter's Church Christmas Fayre was a great success and well attended. A record amount of £845 was raised.
Strumpshaw Sewing Bees finish off the Christmas bunting and put a little sparkle in the entrance hall just in time for the Christmas Fayre.
Work has been underway on transforming the land around the hall.
Top soil added and grass seed sown, it will look great in the Spring.

This class is not just for beginners. If you have been doing yoga for a while you will have realised that as much as everyday in your life is different, so is your practise of yoga! Any yoga that you get to do is beneficial to your mind, body and soul. During the class, variations on the asanas (positions) are given so that you can challenge yourself and grow in your practise. We always end with a soothing relaxation, guaranteed to help you face the challenges of life..
